Foraged from the ancient pine forests of Shangri-La above 3,000 meters, our matsutake (松茸) is hand-selected at peak aromatic intensity — one of the world's most prized wild mushrooms, beloved across Japan, Korea, and high-end European kitchens.
Matsutake cannot be cultivated. It grows in symbiosis with red pine roots in ancient, undisturbed forests — and Yunnan's Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is one of only three regions on earth that produce truly world-class matsutake.
Each year for six brief weeks between July and September, Tibetan and Naxi families hike into the forests at dawn to harvest the mushrooms before they fully open. Our matsutake is graded within hours, vacuum-cooled, and shipped via temperature-controlled air freight to Tokyo, Seoul, Paris, and Dubai within 48 hours of picking.
Available fresh in season, or as frozen IQF, freeze-dried, and sliced/diced formats for year-round culinary use.
