Full-bodied Dianhong with prominent golden tips — Yunnan's signature black tea. Naturally sweet with honey, malt, and dried fruit notes. The classic breakfast tea preferred across Russia, Europe, and the Arabic peninsula.
Dianhong (滇红) translates simply as 'Yunnan Red' — the tea that, since 1939, has defined Chinese black tea in international markets. Made from the local large-leaf Assamica variety, it delivers a bolder, sweeter cup than the smaller-leaf black teas of Fujian or Anhui.
Our Dianhong selections range from classical broken-leaf grades favored in Russian and Middle Eastern blends, to whole-leaf Golden Buds (金芽) and the rare all-bud Golden Needle (金针) prized by European specialty tea houses.
Naturally low in astringency, naturally high in sweetness — perfect for milk tea applications across the GCC and CIS markets, and equally at home as a clean, single-origin afternoon tea in European retail.
